Heather Woolley - Director
Heather Woolley started The Big Green Leaf in April of 2012, having already trained and worked within the industry for 10 years.
Heather’s qualiﬁcations include an Honours Degree in Landscape Architecture from Kingston University, a London Diploma in Horticulture from Winchester Sparsholt College (Dip Hort), and the PA1 and PA6 NPTC Certiﬁcate in the Safe Use of Pesticides.
After graduating , Heather joined the team at a landscape architects based in London. After working on numerous commercial projects across the city for two years, she began to feel a desire to get back to her original roots – in the horticultural side of things!
In the years leading up to founding The Big Green Leaf Heather’s original love of plants only grew along with her knowledge, and now, working as an independent specialist in horticultural services, The Big Green Leaf can offer expert advice on anything from planting through to maintenance and redesign.
Greg Richards - Director
In May of 2012, Greg joined Heather, bringing experience gained from a career specialising in large-scale outdoor events, finding ways to alter and use existing spaces for varied requirements. Greg has a degree in Political Science from Kingston University, London and is currently training towards a Diploma in Horticulture.
Whilst he works on a range of projects as part of The Big Green Leaf, Greg’s particular love is for the hands-on work - building and realising structures, and helping to reshape and manage a garden, whether it is old or new.
Together Heather and Greg lead a young and exciting team of dedicated gardeners, all with qualifications and experience to get the most out of your garden.
